GLOBAL
WARMING
Global warming can be
defined as a process of increasing the average temperature of the atmosphere,
ocean, and land Earth. The cause of global warming due to increasing number of
buildings skyscrapers are everywhere, while the state of the forest has been
increasingly miserable. Bare forests in the world has resulted in the ozone
layer is getting thinner. Our earth becomes hotter. Not only in tropical
regions, in regions such as the polar else feel this.
Global
Warming
1.
United
States Environmental Protection Agency. Explains that global
warming is an increase in the average temperature at the earth's surface, both
of which have been passed or is happening at the moment. Most of the events are
influenced by the events of the greenhouse effect in the Earth's atmosphere.
Global warming that causes climate change.
2.
New
Mexico Solar Energy Association, USA. Explains that global
warming is an increase in temperature or average temperature at the earth's
surface as a result of the greenhouse effect that where the greenhouse effect
is the trapping of heat in the earth's events because of the obstruction of
gases such as carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere due to emissions of
motor vehicles, air pollution from factory or industrial and forest fires.
3.
Natural
Resources Defense Council. Explains that global warming is
the biggest environmental and humanitarian crises that occur at this time.
Earth's atmosphere is very hot because trapped by carbon dioxide gas that could
threaten climate change and can lead to disaster in the earth's surface. NRDC
also appealed to all the people on earth to act against global warming so that
the bad effects can be reduced to human life.
4.
National
Wildlife Federation. Describes global warming as Earth Day
event where more and more heat, the more torrential rains and floods, more
intense storms and drought deepened. The events are real impacts that occur as
a result of global warming on the earth. Global warming also changed the
landscape of life on earth and off many species.
Causes
of Global Warming
Global warming happen there must be a
reason, as for some reason, among others:
1. Model greenhouses. Which
became one of the causes of global warming is a greenhouse where the model both
in homes, buildings or places that use the concept of building glass can
reflect light instead of absorbing air and sunlight. So that the impact of the
glass umah concept is very influential on the increase and improvement of
global warming on Earth.
2. Electricity wastage. Electricity
is used by everyone, but many people are not aware of the savings on
electricity usage. Various appeals have been widely driven or carried out, but
in reality many people can not do, so the waste of this electricity could be
one contributor to the increasing global warming.
3. Fuel. Fuel
used vehicles in addition to harm the health also gives the effect of the
increase in global warming of the air pollution produced by each vehicle.
4. Air pollution from Industrial and
Factory. More and more industries and plant-growing, more and
more global warming. Indeed the plus side, industry and factory can provide
opportunities for the welfare of the people, but on the other hand smoke
damages resulting from the industry and very detrimental to acknowlege earth
plant.
5. Many occur deforested forest fires
illegally without permission from the government.
In fact, many forest functions, one of which is to prevent flooding. In
addition, forests can reduce the heat in the earth's temperature is increasing.
A source said that global warming increases by 50% the cause is CO2, or carbon
dioxide. Where the carbon dioxide emissions caused by damage or forest fires.
So deforestation has led to the increase in global warming of the earth.
Impact
of Global Warming
Many very adverse
impact generated and perceived by all living creatures on earth because of the
golbal warming or global warming which is increasingly rising. As for the
impacts to the lives of, among others:
1.
The longer the temperature of the
earth's surface will be more extreme.
2.
Sea levels around the world will
increase.
3.
The intensity of hurricanes will
increase.
4.
Many droughts and crop failures
worldwide.
5.
There will be famine and drought earth.
6.
Various diseases emerging due to global
warming.
7.
The extinction of some species of living
creatures.
Here's
how to tackle global warming are as follows.
First, how to tackle
global warming by reducing greenhouse gases. The greenhouse effect would not
exist without the greenhouse gases. Humans often use oil or coal in daily
activities. Burning oil or coal it certainly produces a lot of gas. This gas
will rise spread into the air and extends fulfill our atmosphere. Gas is called
greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases make the incoming sunlight to the earth
becomes trapped in the earth's surface. As a result, the earth's temperature
has increased, or in other words the temperature of the earth is getting
hotter. Therefore, countries around the world agreed to reduce the use of oil
or coal. Especially in developed countries. They certainly are using oil or
coal for industrial purposes.
Second, how to tackle
global warming by finding alternative fuels or alternative fuels. If the use of
oil and coal is reduced, our activities (mainly industrial) will also be
slightly dormant or can not be maximized because of fuel shortage. Therefore,
we must find a replacement. We have to look for alternative fuels that are
environmentally friendly. Now, already widely available fuel substitute
findings of experts that are environmentally friendly. For example biodiesel, a
fuel made from plants. There are also biogas, a fuel made from garbage is
processed. There are still many others. The materials used for alternative fuel
feedstock is material that is inexpensive, and does not damage the environment.
Third, how to tackle
global warming by doing reforestation. Earth heat to be cooled. We must reduce
the sheer number of atmospheric greenhouse gases. By way of reforestation.
Trees can absorb CO2 which is one of the greenhouse gases. Planting trees as
much as possible. The more forest, more and more trees, means that our earth is
getting cold anyway. The problem is, people still require forest products such
as timber. Relatively long timber growth is not comparable with the amount we
need. In fact, the numbers are increasingly growing. Therefore, we must find
ways to accelerate the growth of the tree.
Fourth, how to tackle
global warming by carbon trading. In the developed countries, the number of
forests and trees increasingly sparse. In fact, many developed countries
generate greenhouse gases. Therefore, developed countries must pay on forest
countries. That is, that the state forest owners can maintain their forests.
So, developed countries have to pay to the wooded country instead of the
country that are not forested.
Finally, how to cope
with global warming by increasing green building construction. One of the
biggest emitter of greenhouse gases is storey buildings. The building uses a
lot of energy. Especially electricity (for lighting, air conditioning, etc). In
fact, electrical goods such as air conditioners depleting ozone. Therefore, the
architects in the world began to build a green building. Green building is an
environmentally friendly building. This building should be energy efficient and
blend with nature. Typically, the building is using electricity from solar
energy. Air-conditioning was relying on the wind.
